Week 2! Where is Ball this week?

Can you guess where Ball is traveling this week?

A region of the world that was founded more than 1,500 years ago, on 117 different islands, and is linked by over 150 canals and 400 bridges. It was the greatest seaport during the medieval times in Europe, linking commercially and culturally with Asia. A couple famous individuals are from this beautiful city: Giacomo Casanova, Marco Polo and Antonio Vivaldi to name a few. The word Lagoon has its origin in this city’s language to indicate an enclosed, shallow bay of salt water. This city is also famous for it’s Gondolas, where on average 3-4 Gondolier licenses are issued annually, making it a prestigious occupation!
