BOISE, Idaho – After a long work day, Emily Ertman of Nampa relaxes by playing a couple of Idaho Lottery Scratch GamesTM. Tuesday night, though, while looking for her favorite game, she stopped at the Gem Stop at 323 Caldwell Boulevard in Nampa on her way home. To her surprise, they had her current favorite game, $100,000 Bonus Bonanza Cashword and she purchased four tickets. Before leaving, she thought twice about it, and returned and purchased a fifth ticket.
“I play every day. I scratched the first four before I went to bed and I won $10,” explained Ertman. “I woke up the next morning, scratched the fifth ticket and won $100,000! I checked the ticket again and again, probably ten times. I still don’t believe it.”
Recently married, Ertman plans to pay down some bills with her winnings and help her new family
For their part in selling the winning ticket, Gem Stop receives a bonus from the Idaho Lottery for $10,000.
The game, $100,000 Bonus Bonanza Cashword, was over 93% sold when Ertman presented the final top prize for payment and officially ended the game. The first top prize was claimed last week by Phillip Lee of Heyburn.
